Nexperia has released the new family of high temperature, high-performance, general-purpose transistors and switching diodes which can operate in temperature conditions up to 175°C. The family comprises of BAS16/21 high-speed switching diodes series and BC807/817 general purpose transistors series. The 175°C switching diodes and transistors also offer a 25% higher Ptot (total power dissipation) than basic 150°C rated parts. These high temperature features makes it an ideal solution for gear boxes and motor drives, as well as LED lighting and other industrial applications.
The Switching Diodes and Transistors are AEC-Q101 qualified for high automotive reliability. The new 175°C diodes and transistors covers all performance classes up to 15A. The transistors comes with three current gain selections whereas the diodes feature multiple switching speeds. The diodes can be used in high speed switching as well as general-purpose switching. The Transistors can be used for General-purpose switching as well as amplification.
The family of 175°C BAS16/21 and BC807/817 products are available in packages ranging from leadless DFN to leaded SMD and clipbond FlatPower (CFP) and LFPAK packages. More information is available at Nexperia Website.
