Nexperia has announced a new MJD 3A and 8A power bipolar transistors that are automotive (AEC-Q101-Qualified) and customer/industrial qualified. The product family includes eight parts in both 80V and 100V NPN and PNP versions. The well-known devices in an industry-standard footprint are an addition to Nexperia’s portfolio of high-performance bipolar transistors and they also expand the company’s total power bipolar discrete offering. The high current MJD devices enable design engineers to benefit from the recognized Nexperia performance advantages and add efficiency to the supply chain and focus on few premium logistics supplies such as Nexperia.
These devices can be used in applications such as LED automotive lighting, backlight dimming in LCD displays, linear voltage regulators, relay replacement, motor drives, laser printers, and MOSFET drivers. More information on the MJD series transistors can be found in the product page at the official website of Nexperia.
