Wi-Fi Hacking Tool

Recently, an open-source Wi-Fi hacking watch was made by the DSTIKE Team. This device termed the Deauther Watch X, is the cheapest watch that runs Deauther on its core ESP07 - ESP8266. More than a watch, it’s a simple wireless hacking tool that can be used for educational purposes, training, or testing our own network, which was strictly explained by the author of this project. Disclaimers and warnings are included in the Deauther official documentation and product description.

Hacking Tool with OLED Display

In terms of hardware, it features a built-in 128x64 px OLED display, three buttons, a programmable RGB LED, a built-in torch light, a buzzer, and an external FPC antenna providing a range of 30 to 50 meters. The watch includes an inbuilt battery with a battery management system and a charging circuit. Being open source, every hardware component is fully customizable.

For control, it offers two interfaces: a web interface via its local web server with an intuitive user interface, and a serial interface. Thus, it’s possible to run this project with minimal hardware, such as an ESP8266 development board.

This project can perform three types of attacks on a wireless network: a de-authentication attack to disconnect selected devices, a beacon flooding attack, and a probe request flooding attack. It can test 802.11 standard networks with 2.4GHz WiFi. This firmware has many internal limitations to avoid unethical uses, and this product is not guaranteed for its purpose.
