Vishay Intertechnology, Inc has introduced three new Automotive grade IHLP low profile, high current inductors in the companies smallest automotive qualified case size of 3.3mm by 3.3mm 1212 for under the Hood Applications. IHLP-1212AZ-5A, IHLP-1212BZ-A1 and IHLP-1212BZ-5A were designed to save space in the next generation ADAS and sensor applications, They combine high operating temperature of +155 °C with extremely low profile down to 1.0mm and 2.0mm.
The inductors were optimized for energy storage in DC/DC converters up to 5 MHz and provide excellent attenuation of noise in high current filtering applications up to the SRF of the inductor.They were designed for filtering and DC/DC conversion in ADAS, sensor, and entertainment/navigation systems along with noise suppression for medium current filter applications. The inductors are packages in 100% lead free shield using composite construction that reduces buzz to ultra low levels. It offers high resistance to thermal shocks, moisture and mechanical schok and can handle high transient spikes without saturation.
