Infineon Technologies has launched its new StrongIRFET™ 2 power MOSFET 30 V series, expanding its product range to meet the rising demand for 30 V solutions in the mass market. These MOSFETs are designed for durability and ease of use, catering to various applications like industrial switched-mode power supplies (SMPS), motor drives, battery-powered devices, battery management systems, and uninterruptible power supplies (UPS). The portfolio supports both low and high switching frequencies, offering flexibility for use in light electric vehicles, power tools, gardening tools, and consumer electronics.
Compared to the previous generation, the StrongIRFET™ 2 technology delivers up to 40% better on-state resistance (RDS(on)) and 60% lower gate charge (QG), resulting in improved power efficiency and overall system performance.
