RECOM Power launched R2SX series of compact size 2W DC/DC converters ideal for applications such as bus isolation and a wide range of industrial automation control equipment. With low profile and compact footprint, the devices save ample space in PCB design. The R2SX is an open-frame 2W SMD isolated DC/DC converter with either (/H version) or 1kVDC/1 minute isolation options with operating temperature ranges from -40°C up to +75°C at full load and up to +100°C with derating.
The R2SX DC-DC converters offers 5V or 24V input and can deliver single unregulated 3.3V, 5V, 15V, or 24V output reaching efficiency up to 86%. The efficiency stays high over a wide 20% to 100% load range, with no minimum load requirement. All the devices are certified to IEC/EN/UL62368-1 and are 10/10 RoHS-conform. A simple low cost LC filter is needed for Class B EMC compliance and the devices comes in a 3-year warranty.
