Toshiba Electronics has made new additions to its TXZ+ family of microcontrollers. The new Arm Cortex-M4 core-based M4K, M4M, M4G, and M4N groups and Arm Cortex-M3core-based-M3H group of microcontrollers offer low power consumption and are suitable for a wide variety of applications such as home appliances, industrial devices, office automation, and audiovisual devices, healthcare devices, etc.
These new devices come with a maximum operating frequency of 200MHz, maximum flash memory of 2MB with 100K write cycles endurance and 12-bit analog-to-digital converters with fast conversion times. Additionally, these groups of new microcontrollers of the TXZ+ family are equipped with application-focused peripherals such as high-efficiency motor control engines or rich connectivity interfaces. The devices offer a CAN interface and self-diagnostics feature and are suitable for motor control applications such as air conditioners, washing machines, refrigerators, inverter pumps, actuators, power tools, etc.
