Recom launched SMD and Pin Versions of the REM3.5E, REM5E and REM6E series of medical-grade regulated DC/DC converters. These converters were recently released by RECOM where REM3.5E is 3.5W, REM5E is 5W and REM6E is 6W medical grade DC/DC modules. They offer reinforced 250VAC continuous working isolation with >8mm creepage/clearance providing 2xMOPP and insulation of up to 10kVDC. These new features makes it compatible for applications such as medical B, BF, and CF due to low 1μA leakage current.
The compact SMD packages comes with tightly regulated single or dual outputs with UVLO, SCP, OCP and OVP. The converters have wide range of temperature operation from -400C to +850C without derating offering 80% efficiency. The Modules are UL marked and certified to CB, IEC, EN and ANSI/AAMI 60601 3rd ed, safety and 4th ed. EMC medical standards.
