 ECC204, SHA104, and SHA105 CryptoAuthentication™ ICs

Microchip Technology has expanded its TrustFLEX portfolio with the addition of the ECC204, SHA104, and SHA105 CryptoAuthentication™ ICs, designed to simplify secure key provisioning and accelerate prototyping processes. These hardware-based security devices offer robust protection by keeping secret keys secure from unauthorized access. Preconfigured with defined use cases, customizable cryptographic keys, and code examples, the ECC204, SHA104, and SHA105 streamline development, meeting high-security standards including Common Criteria JIL High ratings and certifications from NIST.

These compact, low-power ICs are versatile, supporting a wide range of applications from industrial and medical devices to battery-powered and disposable equipment. The ECC204 also boasts Wireless Power Consortium (WPC) approval for Qi authentication. Supported by Microchip’s Trust Platform Design Suite and MPLAB® X IDE, these devices facilitate secure credential transfer and development. Pricing starts at $0.52 each for ECC204 and $0.50 each for SHA104/SHA105 in quantities of 2,000 units. For more details, visit Microchip’s website.
