CUI Devices has announced the addition of two new Peltier Cooling Units namely the CPM-2C and CPM-2H to its existing thermoelectric cooling modules. These two new modules have a higher current rating of 7A and 8.5A respectively, compared to the existing CPM-2F modules which operate on 6A. This higher current provides a wide temperature delta (temperature difference between the hot side and cold side) of 85.9°C for these new thermoelectric cooling modules.
The modules are available in 70 mm x 70 mm package sizes and feature a tighter seal structure for water resistance and absorption of thermal stress. It can be used in sealed industrial cooling applications where forced air cooling is not an option. These CPM series models from CUI Devices also integrates the arcTEC structure, which reduces stress on the modules and improves performance during thermal cycling conditions, while enabling faster and uniform cooling.
More information on the CPM-2C, CPM-2F and CPM-2H modules can be found by following the respective links. The modules are immediately available for purchase with prices starting from $79.38 per unit at 50 pieces through distributors. OEM pricing can also be obtained by contacting CUI devices directly.
