RECOM has launched the RPMGE-10 and RPMGH-40, two new non-isolated DC/DC converters designed to balance cost-effectiveness with high performance. The RPMGE-10 provides a 10A output in half brick format, while the RPMGH-40 delivers 40A in eighth brick format, both accommodating an input range of 18-75VDC for various nominal values. These converters offer flexible 5V or 12V DC outputs, adjustable to 3.3-8VDC and 8-34VDC respectively, to suit a wide range of applications. Featuring advanced thermal design, they achieve high efficiency up to 95%, allowing operation at full load even in temperatures exceeding 100°C with airflow, and up to 120°C with derating under nominal conditions.
Their reliability is underscored by an MTBF exceeding 1.2 million hours per MIL-HDBK-217F standards. Control options include on/off, output trim, and remote sense capabilities, with built-in protection against under-voltage, overload, over-temperature, and short-circuit conditions. The converters are available in an open frame, through-hole mounting format with standard dimensions and pinouts, catering to both cost-sensitive and high-performance applications with their wide input and output voltage ranges.
