Mouser Electronics is now stocking the OPTIGA™ Trust X security solution from Infineon Technologies. The turnkey, hardware-based solution provides robust security to a range of diverse applications, including Internet of Things (IoT), smart homes, medical devices, and drones.
Infineon OPTIGA Trust X is based on an advanced security controller built on Elliptic Curve Cryptography (ECC) NIST P256, AES128, and SHA-256, plus built-in tamper-proof nonvolatile memory to greatly enhance overall system security. As a turnkey solution, the OPTIGA Trust X comes with the operating system, embedded applications and complete host side integration support, reducing design, integration, and deployment efforts.
OPTIGA Trust X supports a high-speed I²C communication interface up to 1 MHz. Typical current consumption is 20 mA, which drops to 70 µA in sleep mode. Compliant with the USB Type-C authentication standard, the controller is available in both standard temperature range (minus 25 to 85 degrees Celsius) and extended temperature range (minus 40 to 105 degrees Celsius), in a compact 3mm × 3mm PG-USON-10-2 package.
