The new CM5-P1000 COTS PC/104 module from ADLINK is a compact, energy-efficient, and highly effective robust solution that addresses the size, weight, and power (SWaP) restrictions in aerospace and defense applications. This new module comes with NVIDIA Quadro P1000 graphics processing capabilities and is perfect for demanding mission-critical video/imaging analysis applications.
NVIDIA Quadro P1000 GPU gives CM5-P1000 COTS PC/104 module access to 640 CUDA cores and enables 1.8TFLOPS performance levels. It incorporates 4 ultra-high definition (UHD) DisplayPort outputs and a 16 lane PCIe Gen3 bus. It has 4GB of GDDR5 embedded memory, 128-bit memory width, and delivers a 96GB/s maximum bandwidth.
The high-performance processing power of the module makes it suitable to be used in a wide range of use cases from radars, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR), unmanned ground vehicles (UGV), unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV), missile systems, etc. Other than this, it can be used in factory automation and process control.
Besides offering the inherent design flexibility of a modular approach, the module enables customers to enjoy a high degree of ruggedness and helps maintain uptime in challenging working environments. Also, it can cope with exposure to extreme temperatures, high altitudes, shocks, and vibrations. The module supports an operational temperature range from -40°C to +85°C and can withstand humidity levels of 96%. It can run on either Windows 10 or 64-bit Linux operating systems.
