NXP Semiconductors recently announced their new technology - NXP Automated drive kit, which allows the car manufacturing company to develop, test and utilize autonomous algorithms and application fastly on an open and flexible platform.
The kit enables easy access to multiple hardware and software options, which is helpful to the developers. The first kit will release with the front vision system based on NXP’s S32V234 processor, it also includes front camera application software APIs and object detection algorithms provided by Neusoft. The Kit includes sophisticated radar options and GPS positioning technology. The user can use various LiDAR options and able to add more LiDAR Object Processing (LOP) modular software from AutonomouStuff, which helps in ground segmentation and object tracking.
NXP is going to demonstrate “the Automated Drive Kit” in CES 2018 going to held on 9 January in Las Vegas.

The NXP started selling the Automated Drive Kit, you can order it from AutonomouStuff as a standalone package that can be taken by the customer in their own vehicle or by AutonomouStuff Automated Research Development Vehicle as an integrated package.
