UP 7000 Development Board

AAEON, known for its high-quality developer boards, has unveiled the UP 7000, the latest addition to their UP brand lineup. The UP 7000 comes with significant upgrades, featuring 8GB of LPDDR5 system memory, onboard TPM 2.0, and compatibility with Windows and Linux OS. Notably, it stands out as the world's smallest board to integrate Intel Processor N-series CPUs. The UP 7000 is available with different SKUs, offering Intel Processor N97, N100, or N50 CPUs. These processors boast clock speeds up to 50% faster than their predecessors and support Intel AVX2 for energy-efficient AI acceleration.

In terms of connectivity, the board is equipped with three USB Type-A ports for USB 3.2 Gen 2, one GbE LAN port with Realtek RTL8111H CG support, and a Raspberry Pi-compatible 40-pin HAT for expansion. This configuration makes it particularly suitable for applications requiring low latency and versatile connectivity, such as AMR and multifunction printing device solutions. Another highlight of the UP 7000 is its HDMI 1.4b Type-A port, which shares space with one of the USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports, optimizing board space efficiency. AAEON emphasizes that this inclusion allows developers to harness the power of Intel UHD Graphics, leading to faster rendering and higher FPS for digital signage solutions. Overall, the UP 7000 delivers top-notch performance in a compact form factor, making it an attractive choice for developers working on various industrial projects.
